Question by weedsmokerinktown: does anyone know if matthew leskos grant books are worth buying?
mattew lesko claims there are a billion govt. grants to help americans pay all sorts of bills is this true have you tried or heard of anyone who tried thiese books? did they work

no. It’s a crock. They are all highly specialized and very restrictive. Chances are high that you won’t qualify for any of them.

Question by I love cookies: What should I do about my student loans?
here’s a quick run down, no credit cards – thus no built up credit, about $ 58K in debt all from school, 2 B.A.s, make about $ 25.4K. Other than getting a job selling organs on the black market how am I going to afford to have a normal life with a husband, kids, mortgage, etc? I pay almost $ 600/ month minimum. I feel totally trapped. I live in an area with a pretty horrible job market and I’m not really in the position to move. I’m thinking of calling Matthew Lesko, the question marks guy, to ask about how I can get grants to go to grad school so I can try to have a more fruitful career, but being in school = I can’t have full time job(s). Also, just tried to buy a used car this weekend, and b/c I have no credit, they said that the best they could do was give me a 13% interest rate on my auto loan.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. And yes, I have thought about working at Hooters… and I can’t do it.
I save some money by living with my parents and just not spending. The most I spend is on gas to get to work. I bring my lunch to work and try to cut out other expenses. I have an IRA started.

sorry you listened to the music — now is the time to pay for the band — believe it or not if you keep plugging away the debt will go away!!! and you do have the degrees to show for it!!!
